Rashid Khan joins Lahore Qalandars’ squad for PSL 8 remainder

KARACHI: Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan has joined Lahore Qalandars’ squad for the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League season 8.

According to the detail, star spinner Rashid arrived in Karachi from Dubai in the wee hours of Tuesday morning to play the PSL after missing the first two games of his side.

He will be available for Lahore Qalandar’s third PSL encounter today against Quetta Gladiators.

Defending champions Qalandars faced a major blow yesterday when all-rounder Liam Dawson was ruled out of the PSL due to an ankle injury. He will travel back to England where he will undergo his rehabilitation.

The side currently sits at the bottom of the PSL 8 standings with two points. They won the opening match against Multan Sultans before facing a crushing defeat to Karachi Kings.
