KARACHI: Muhammad Akhlaq’s century in the run chase powered the Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) to a three-wicket victory over Pakistan Television (PTV) on day two of round seven of the President’s Trophy. WAPDA beat PTV by three wickets on day two as they chased a target of 225 runs in 41 overs. NEW DELHI: India’s ace batter Virat Kohli has withdrawn from the opening two Tests of the five-match home series against England, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed Monday. According to the details, Kohli opted out of the first two Tests, scheduled from January 25 to February 6 due to personal reasons. The star batter is likely to link up with the squad ahead of the third Test, scheduled to take place in Rajkot from February 15 to 19.
