CENTURION: Kyle Verreynne’s fighting century went in vain as MI Cape Town humbled Pretoria Capitals by 34 runs in the high-scoring SA20 fixture on Thursday. MI Cape Town captain Kieron Pollard’s decision to bat first, paid dividends for his side as they ran riot to post a mammoth total of 248/4 on the board. The bottom-ranked side got off to a flying start to their innings, courtesy of a brilliant 64-run partnership between Rassie van der Dussen and Ryan Rickelton. But Wayne Parnell dismissed van der Dussen in the fifth over to provide a much-needed breakthrough to the Capitals.
